The South Carolina District of The Wesleyan Church is a community of Christ followers committed to the transformation of South Carolina and the world by resourcing leaders and multiplying churches.

The South Carolina District is comprised of 58 churches with a total constituency of 7,800 and growing.  The district also serves as the host district for Southern Wesleyan University located in Central South Carolina (www.swu.edu).  The Wesleyan Church, with its headquarters located in Indianapolis, IN, has over 5,470 local congregations with a membership of 315,134 with weekly worshippers reaching 366,997.  The denomination has a missions presence in over 90 countries throughout the world (www.wesleyan.org).
