In the South Carolina District, we believe the Local Board of Administration (LBA) is more than a governing body; it’s a team of spiritual leaders called to discern God’s will and help move the mission of the church forward for the sake of Kingdom advancement. Their role is not to control the church, but to prayerfully lead in partnership with their pastor and congregation.

Our district seeks to support and equip LBAs to understand the importance of their calling, embrace the uniqueness of their role, and keep their focus fixed on the vision and mission to which God is leading their church. We believe boards serve most effectively when they maintain a Kingdom perspective and depend on the guidance of the Holy Spirit rather than human decision-making.
